It is with great pleasure we are able to announce the underwriting of our scholarship program by Sweet "P" Enterprises.
Sweet "P" Enterprises, Inc. is the franchisee for Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits in the Greater Little Rock and Hot Springs area. Sweet "P" Enterprises owns and manages five stores in the
Greater Little Rock area and two stores in Hot Springs.
Sweet "P" Enterprises was the brainchild of and is headed by Danny Gililland of Sherwood. Danny has been a long time member of the chorus. Having seen first hand the results of work focused directly in the community, Danny has pledged to donate $2,000 each year to the Diamond State Chorus Scholarship program. Danny and his business have been involved in working with youth and the community for many years. Our appreciation to Danny and Sweet "P" cannot be overstated. Here's a great big THANKS! to Danny Gililland and Sweet "P" Enterprises.

This annual donation will be applied toward the Diamond State Chorus Vocal Music Scholarship Program to cover thescholarship itself as well as the
expenses it takes to run the program. Also, the funds will be used to assist in the Young Men In Harmony program in which we sponsor a number of young male quartets and their directors to attend Harmony
Explosion Camp each year to learn more about Barbershop Quartet Harmony. (For more info go to http://www.swd.org/html/ymih.htm)
Danny's efforts are greatly appreciated. It is this kind of commitment that helps us keep our mission on track. We encourage our patrons to "eat
at Popeyes" whenever you get a chance. It will be your own indirect contribution to the scholarship program and besides, they've got really good food too..
